Rain, rain go away! It's bizarre to see many of the towns I've lived in and driven through getting this much water. It never does this. People asking "when will it ever stop?" and me married to the weatherman wishing I knew the answer.
(the above is the view out my front door right now. I don't have a fancy camera that'll focus on the falling rain. It's just depressing to see that it is ALWAYs, ALWAYs, wet. Thank goodness we are not in a flood zone.

The east side of Lawton was evacuated, I believe. My mom said it had something to do with Cache Creek. Having visited Lawton and Wichita Falls on the same day I can say Lawton had NOTHING compared to the flooding in WF. The Wichita River took care of that.
When we went to the east of Lawton the waters had mostly receded.
